managers in job…or for life?

Now  a days, due to the constant increase in the number of hours being spent by an average Indian employee at teir workplaces, managers are palying very vital role not only at workplace, but also in personal lives too. For instance, Mahesh was fired by his lady manager due to his anti- feminstic comments on his personal blog, stating to the management, some other reason of failure to deliver on time. Sita completely stopped wearing pearl ear-rings, since his manager has some tragic memory related to pearls. Rama has to accompany his manager to pubs on friday nights since he doesn’t have any other to accompany him. It takes not more than a fraction of second to these people to say no to their managers or compalin to management. But what will be the out come? Poor grades on their performance evaluation forms or even worse some times expulsions in the name of underperfromance.

This made many employees to accept their workplace managers even to occupy their personal life priorities and even time tables.

Now a days, even the HR and management of some firms have started palying different tunes. They pay a deaf ear to these complaints, since they believe that it’s hard to recruit a manager than mass-recruiting some developer or executive?

 Why this work life imbalances and discriminations?
